The Living Streams Community Nursery is an established native plant nursery located in Little River, helping promote conservation and regeneration of native plants.

Our aim is to encourage biodiversity on Banks Peninsula. We propagate native trees and grasses that grow in the ecological area of the Mt Herbert and Akaroa District/ Banks Peninsula.  All our seed is sourced in these catchments.  If not, its source is clearly stated.

The nursery is open Wednesday 9am to 3pm and Saturday 10 to 2pm and is an affordable source for native plants on Banks Peninsula.

The plant nursery is owned and managed by the charitable Living Streams Community Nursery Trust and is located behind the service centre in Little River, Banks Peninsula.
